Help Tim "The Tool Man" Allen!

Donation protected
Hey, My name is Tony and I'm trying to raise some money for a mentor, a friend, a part of my family, Tim Allen.

Anyone who knows me knows that when I left the Marine Corps I had no purpose, no direction, no ambition and no JOB. I met Tim after having shoveled snow from in front of five houses just to keep my parking spot. OCD is a wild ride. So I then had to shovel the sidewalks, then peoples porches and stairs. Tim came outside dressed in his snowdays best with his young son Jason to remove snow and found it had already been done. He asked my name, and why I'd done this. After a short two minute conversation he'd offered me a job as a second man for his small home renovations company starting the very next day... that day I cut the hot water line in Franks house during a very cold day. Tim didn't fire me, in fact for the next 13 years I worked for Tim consistently, or between seasons at my current job. His patience never waivered, I cut a few more water lines and practically destroyed a garage. To me Tim went from boss and mentor, to a best friend, to family. He never stopped being a mentor and constant resource in my life. Tim is owed a lot of credit to where I am today. I'm not the only one, my friend Mark Darmetko can probably share a similar story. Enough about me.

Two weeks ago Tim had a accident that today and moving forward will challenge him. He was in his backyard shop working when he slipped while using a miter saw and lost four of his fingers. He was taken to Albany Med, where shortly afterwards he took a Med Flight to Weschester Medical Center where they were able to do some reconstructive surgeries. He is still looking at a few more surgeries. His patience, humor, optimism and faith are helping him and his family through this time. He is surrounded by Kirsten, Jason, and Tyler to help him through this and they won't accept failure.

My goal is to raise $25, $100 or $50,000 to help Tim and his family through the financial hardships of a crisis. His work has been affected and I would like to minimize the effects on his family and wallet. I don't like asking anyone for help, I hate asking for money but I'd like to help them as much as he's helped myself, and others.

*** I can not express how much I appreciate what you all have done to help us reach our goal. THANK YOU! I will leave this up till 2/2/2024. Anything more is a “Bonus”! ***
