On October 20, a fire tore through Tim Thayer’s property in Marathon, Texas, in the middle of the night destroying everything he owned.

Tim lost his home, trailer, workshop and two beloved dogs Dosi and Annabella in the fire. In a matter of hours, years of hard work, memories and irreplaceable belongings were gone. Thankfully, Tim made it out safely — but he's now facing the overwhelming challenge of starting over from scratch.

Whether you know him through his work, his friendship or simply as a familiar face in town, you know how deeply rooted he is in this community.

We are raising funds to help Tim:

-Rebuild his workshop and replace tools

-Clean up the land and remove damaged structures

-Replace essential household items and clothing

-Begin the process of recovery to put his life back together
