Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

We are writing to ask for your support for my fiancé's brother, Tim Robertson. For the past year, our family has watched helplessly as his health has rapidly declined. He has gone from a vibrant, independent person to struggling with constant pain and fatigue, unable to work and enjoy his life. Rapid weight loss, muscle loss, and loss of mobility in his arms.

Despite countless doctor visits and tests, the medical community here has been unable to determine what is wrong. The uncertainty has been devastating for him and our family. After exhausting local options, his doctors have recommended a referral to the renowned Mayo Clinic, which specializes in diagnosing complex medical cases like his. We believe this is his best chance at getting a correct diagnosis and a path toward recovery.

The need for funding

The funds raised will be used for the extensive costs associated with traveling and receiving care at the Mayo Clinic, including:

Specialized diagnostic testing not available locally.

Travel and lodging expenses for Tim and a family member to accompany him.

Consultations with multiple specialists at the clinic.

Ongoing treatments and care after a diagnosis is found.

We have faced a heavy financial burden over the past year, and the cost of pursuing treatment out of state is a challenge we cannot meet alone.

A glimpse into who he is

Before he became sick, Tim was a local mechanic at a family-owned business, Robertson Garage. Before his health failed, Tim was big into their family dirt track racing team, but unfortunately, he hasn't been able to make a show this year. It's been heartbreaking to see this vibrant part of him fade away, and we want to do everything we can to help him get it back.
