Team: Tim "Red" Carroll Fights Lung Cancer
Dear Friends!
Timothy "Red" Carroll is a lifelong resident of Sharon / Hermitage, PA who has touched and beautified the lives of hundreds in the area with his landscaping and construction / remodeling talents. Tim was recently diagnosed with Stage III Small Cell Lung Cancer. In addition to standard treatment with radiation and chemotherapy, Tim has been offered a spot in a trial which will add a new immunotherapy drug to his treatment regimen. When asked if he would be willing to participate, Tim's response was, "Even if it doesn't help me, if the trial can help someone else, I'm in!" What an amazing and selfless answer! At a young 58 years of age, Tim still has a great deal of living to do for his daughter, Sabrina, his son, Zachary, and his two beautiful granddaughters, Lexi and Lhydia.
Of course the battle against this ugly disease comes with a monetary as well as a physical cost. His family is organizing this Go Fund Me effort and a benefit to be held July 10, 2022 at the Mercer County Shrine Club on Lamor Road in Hermitage, PA to raise funds to help with transportation and medical co-pay needs.
Your support and prayers are key in helping Timothy "Red" Carroll (and through the trial, potentially many others) beat this battle against Cancer. Every donation has the potential to make a difference in our community as we have all known a loved family member or friend who was lost to cancer. In July of 2021, Tim's sister Karen lost her battle with cancer. We are determined to fight with Tim and help stop this terrible illness.
Your support is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
