Hello all. Thank you for viewing my page.
My name is Tim. I am 61 years old. I have worked since I was 16, spending most of my life in physically demanding jobs. From climbing telephone poles and repairing underground cables to working in building maintenance and even at a steel mill. My career has always involved hard manual labor.
Over the years, this work has taken a heavy toll on my body. My Back and my knees have been severely affected by hard labor.
I've been on pain medicine for decades for my back. I've had countless medical procedures on my back over the years.
Additionally, I've had arthroscopic surgery on my knees over 20 years ago, along with dozens of cortisone injections since then that no longer provide relief.
Ive been unable to have any continuing proceedures on my back due to increasing costs and high deductibles. My back pain is only managed by pain medication and muscle relaxers.
Now, my knees are so bad again that I'm in constant pain and have difficulty working and walking. Steps or stairs are slow, tedious, and very painful.
As of now, I have a surgery scheduled for my right knee (May 8).
My medical insurance has a high out-of-pocket that needs met. Prescriptions I'm on have a high co-pay.
But the hardest part is the 6-8 weeks I will be unable to work are not covered at all! There will be no income.
Additionally, toward the end of the year, I will need to do it all over again when I get the left knee done as well.
I'm reluctantly reaching out for your help. I'm not the type to ask for help.
Any donation would help my wife and I to be able to pay basic bills, house payment, medical co-pays, etc.
Any donation you can give would mean the world to my wife and I.
I thank you very much for your consideration.
