Help Tim Recover from His Losses
Donation protected
Tim Cook lost the place he calls home in the Marshall fire on December 30th. For nearly 20 years, he had been renting a room in the house of a good friend on Cherokee Way in Superior until disaster hit.
Tim is a loyal employee who has worked for us in Boulder the last several years and has played an important role for us and has contributed tremendously. I felt led, with his permission, to start this GoFundMe page for him. He was only able to escape with his wallet, bike, computer and the clothes on his back. Finding a reasonably priced rental already has its challenges and will only be tougher now. These contributions will allow him to quickly secure a new home, furnish it and purchase clothes and necessities. He was beyond grateful when I told him there are people we know who will want to donate. He is very appreciative.
Update: More than a few people have suggested that I raise the amount since it will actually take more than the original amount to help Tim get back on his feet. I spoke with Tim today and he agreed that it will in fact take more resources than originally planned. Thank you to everyone who has gotten us this far! It's amazing to see how much support people have given him and others through this difficult time.
