Tim suffered a massive stroke on October 30th, 2025. It happened while he was at work, where his coworkers caught the symptoms and were able to get him treated as quickly as possible. Tim had to have four stents put into his torn carotid artery to open it back up and return blood flow to his brain. He spent a few days in the ICU at UMPC Mercy in Pittsburgh, PA. Once stable, he was moved to a floor for stroke patients where a team of doctors and professionals kept a close eye on him and did frequent checks and tests for milestones. As of November 6th, 2025, Tim has been moved into an acute rehab facility in McKeesport, PA. The rehab will consist of aggressive physical, occupation, and speech therapies every day, with regular evaluations on his progress until he can be moved back home. Everyone is feeling hopeful about Tim’s recovery, but Tim has a very long and difficult road ahead of him.
