Tim Peal is a nurse at Mount Sinai Morningside, CCU in NYC.
He took FMLA last year Sept 2020 till Dec 2020 because he found out he had L3-L4 disc bulging which gave him sciatica symptoms.
Now he uses a cane for ambulation.
Shortly after, he developed a venous stasis ulcer which healed.
Due to his extended leave , he lost his full time nights position.
He had to reapply for a position on the unit. Only a full time days position was available and he had to start working day shifts after being accustomed to being a night shift nurse for 11 years !
He only lasted till Feb 24 until his venous ulcer opened up again and was wheeping.
His last full paycheck was in February.
He’s had no income except for the disability payments of $198 per week after taxes.
It isn't forever so it ended March 26.
Unfortunately, Tim has been served an eviction notice due to non payment.
He had no current income until his venous ulcers heal and can return to work full time. Social security is his only assistance at the moment l. He is begging your assistance because my reaching out to our Labor Relations in Human Resources are falling on deaf ears.
Tim asks your immediate assistance and help!
If you are reading this, this can happen to you.
Happy Easter to all.
