I met Tim 18 years ago he helped me turn my life around. He has a hard time asking for anything but He changed my life and I would like to return the favor. Tim is a retired school teacher, a veteran. a writer who is passionate about helping others with addiction. In the time i've known him several medical issues have made it increasingly hard to get around for him. His home has narrow doorways and a ramp that's falling apart.  He has a scooter that he can use but he can't even store it in his home because its too difficult for him to get it out on his own.  The last time he tried he fell and needed help from emts. 

Tim has fallen 3 times in the last year often leaving him in a situation where he has to crawl through a narrow doorway to get to his phone to call 911.  This last fall was the  worst so far he's broken his right leg in two places had 2 surgeries and is currently in a rehab after two surgeries hoping to heal enough to walk. 

The rehabilitation could take 14 to 16 weeks we are on week 2. Even once he has healed he will will need physical therapy, and assistance in his home to move around and keep it up.  We are hoping to gather enough donations to move him to another place that will make it easier to get around, where he can move his scooter on his own and if need be use a wheelchair in his house.

We honestly don't know long we have to move him, or what its going to take to make it safe for him to get around with his disabilities. These funds are to help him cover the expenses of moving, a deposit and first month's rent also any bars we need to install or ramps that may need to be built.  I would love to have him leave rehab and move to his new place. 

Any donations over 3000 will go towards medical expenses and possibly a new electric wheelchair.  The goal may be lifted as more needs and costs change .  I know with as many lives Tim has touched and people that love him and know him we can reach this goal.
