Help Tim Lemke and Family Fight Cancer
Every year 150,000 people are diagnosed with colorectal cancer. Unfortunately, our son, brother, and friend Tim Lemke has been fighting his battle with it for about a year and a half. To be objective about the situation, it does not look like Tim will win this battle. We have been told by doctors that he has "up to" a few months left as the cancer has metastisized into his liver, causing liver failure, and now lungs.
When we first learned about the shortened timeline, we had little choice but to pick up and go to him, as Tim moved from Washington to Pennsylvania to live with his wonderful and loving wife, Kristin. The trip included his mother, three younger brothers and his step-father, who he holds very dearly. We have been with Tim for three weeks now and the expenses are undeniably adding up. It is looking like we will return back to Washington soon but the circumstances we are facing with hospice and the cost of everything are becoming substantial.
It is often very difficult to ask for help, even and especially when it is needed. Tim certainly would not ask which is why we, as a family, are doing it in his stead.
If you can help at all, know that you are greatly, incredibly appreciated and you are assisting in making the most challenging time this family has ever faced a little easier.
With the funding raised here, we will additionally be making absolute certain that any financial stress can be relieved from Kristin when the time comes to send off her beloved.
Thank you on behalf of Tim Lemke and family.
