Help Tim Release the Music God Placed in His Heart

My husband Tim is a man of God, and I have witnessed how he has laid down his life for his family and the people around him, since the day I met him. Tim is the most deserving person I know for a GoFundMe for a creative purpose because his gift and talent, and heart are not for applause or for a platform, but because he knows music can heal hearts and point people to Jesus.

He is a professional musician, singer, songwriter, and saxophonist whose sound carries peace, joy, and the presence of God. For years, he’s juggled providing for our family, volunteering in private and public ministry, and being available to serve the Lord with his gifts - while quietly writing music.

This GoFundMe is about fulfilling a God-given mission in Tim's life, and that has too long but put aside or not been possible.

Tim’s Heart for Music – An Interview

When did you first feel God calling you to create music?

I started making music as soon as I had an instrument in my hands. As a kid, I would sit in my closet with my saxophone and pour out my soul without fully understanding why. Later, after coming to know Jesus in 2008, I realized I had been using music to cultivate the wrong culture. God opened my eyes and showed me that music wasn’t just for entertainment—it was meant to be for His love and power. Writing music became the overflow of my relationship with Him, even giving me melodies in dreams.

What is your “why” for creating music?

God spoke creation into existence. Creation is subject to sound, and it's meant to be spoken to by God's voice and sound from within His people. I know that music made in cooperation with His Spirit carries great healing power.

Have you seen God impact people through your music?

Many times. I’ve seen people healed physically, delivered from evil spirits, and filled with the Holy Spirit during moments of music ministry—through both vocals and instrumentals. Even those who don’t know Jesus have told me how the sound brings peace and clarity.

What’s the bigger vision?

The next step is a smooth jazz single with a Billboard #1 guitarist and producer, but it doesn’t stop there. I’m writing for solo projects, a worship collective, instrumental worship music, and even a holy version of spa music. I also mentor people called to media, with the calling to build them up into the fullness of Christ, where Christ is truly revealed through their influence, life, and art.

Why now?

This is a season where I know the Lord has called me to focus more on building bridges to the lost, and build up the body of Christ through music.
