Help Tim Keith Raise Funds For "Salt Joy" Doco
Hi There. My name is Tim Keith.
I am reaching out for you to help me with the final Post-Production costs of my documentary, ‘Salt Joy’.
It's a film based around the Bold and Beautiful (B&B) swimming group, an informal group of people, on the Northern beaches of Manly. It tells a story on the importance of community, connection, and mental health. Which, today, is immensely relevant in the times we are now living in. The documentary dives deep into the squad member's experiences in the brine and the life-changing effects the daily saltwater swim has on their overall health and wellbeing.
To date it has been a solo job of filming and editing which has taken hundreds of hours to get it to near to completion. However, in order for this documentary to have the wider social impact I’m hoping it can have, I’m reaching out to you for further support.
Right now I am shooting for a release date of 1st July 2021. The financial contributions I am seeking will help pay for the final steps – I need some help here. I am grateful to you for any support forthcoming, as such, can I say. ‘thankyou’, in advance.
I'm wanting this film to inspire people to start their day in a positive manner and know there is a supportive community they can have access to, through the B&B, 365 days a year. I’ve learned a great deal in this journey and I believe others can learn from the message I want to put to film, to be shared, too.
