Friends, many of you know Tim Harris, an area native who never meets a stranger and keeps us entertained with his sense of humor. Tim has always been one of those people who is willing to help others, and now he’s facing a series of unexpected challenges that have tested him physically, emotionally, and financially.

Recently, Tim’s house was flooded, leaving him without proper flooring, damaged drywall, and plumbing issues. He can’t even set up his bed right now, so he’s been sleeping in his recliner for weeks. With his back issues and neuropathy, this has created even more physical problems—just walking from his recliner to the kitchen has become a struggle. Insurance will pay for some of the repairs, but not all, and the deductibles are high. It boils down to Tim needing a little help from us.

Funds collected will go toward insurance deductibles, home repairs, and making Tim’s bathroom handicap accessible, including converting his bathtub into a walk-in shower so he can care for his hygiene needs safely at home.
