Dedicated and loving father of three, Tim, has tragically become a paraplegic after contracting a rare staph infection following a medical procedure. A former athlete, Tim has a long road ahead at rehabilitation to try to function independently as a paraplegic.

In order to be discharged from hospital and return to the family home, significant modifications to allow mobility need to be made, and specialised equipment and vehicle modifications are also needed.

Tim is an active member of the local community, including the East Burwood Football Club, and looks forward to resuming his attendance at his son's football matches. Single parent Tim has been in hospital since February; the kids are desperately missing their father and can't wait to have him home.
