Help us to get through a tough time

Hello, my name is Nadine. We have a huge emergency. My husband just got laid off, which is a huge shock for us. Besides not being able to pay for all the bills, he also is scheduled to have open heart surgery on the 24th of this month, in 2 weeks. Our insurance git already dropped, so we are trying to raise whatever we can to help us through this tough time.

My income alone doesn't support the family even close to what we need and the little bit of unemployment he will receive doesn't make it any easier.

My husband Tim needs this surgery urgently. His aortic valve is in severe stenosis and he also has single-vessel coronary disease involving the LAD, requiring a bypass. Without this surgery, he is a ticking time bomb.

I wouldn't share all this private and vulnerable information if we would have any other choice. We also have a 7 year old girl named Elaina, who is just as scared as we are about our future.
