Update April 24, 2026
We have some incredible news to share! After a grueling 8-hour surgery, the surgeon came out to give the update we’ve all been praying for: She got it all. There is currently no sign of any remaining cancer!
It was a very difficult case, but Tim Moore handled it like an absolute warrior. To get it all, the surgeons removed:
The right lobe of his liver
His gallbladder
Surrounding lymph nodes
Tim is officially out of surgery and back with us. He’s currently very groggy and hooked up to quite a few tubes, but he was awake, talking, and so happy to see us. While the cancer is out of him, the journey is far from over. Our main focus right now is:
Pain Management: Keeping him as comfortable as possible.
Lung Health: Working hard to get his lungs functioning fully to prevent pneumonia.
Long-Term Healing: We are looking at a long recovery process followed by chemotherapy to ensure he stays cancer-free.
He is here, and the cancer is out! Thank you all for the overwhelming love and support. Please keep those prayers and healing vibes coming as Tim begins this long road to recovery.

Update April 21, 2026
Yesterday Tim was admitted to hospital. He had a procedure to remove the old stent and replace it with a shiney new one which will help release and prevent toxins from building up in his body. He is on antibiotics and will remain in hospital until after his surgery on Friday.
Urgent Update April 14, 2026: A New Turn in the Fight
Tim and Kristen received a significant update from the Surgeon today. To be completely honest, it wasn’t the news we were hoping for, and it has shifted our immediate focus.
The tumor has shown growth over the last seven weeks, which is currently affecting his bile duct and causing jaundice. Their immediate goal is to get his liver healthy enough for surgery. For the surgery to be successful, the remaining part of his liver needs to be stable and healthy.
The Road Ahead
Immediate Action: He will be heading in for blood work tomorrow to monitor his levels.
The Surgery: The Surgeon is prepared for a complex procedure. She may need to transition from a laparoscopic approach to a full open surgery to address the lymph nodes.
A Difficult Reality: The doctor was very transparent: if she finds that the cancer has reached the abdominal wall (which doesn't always show on a CT scan), the surgery will be an "open and close," as proceeding would not be helpful at that stage.
Ongoing Care: Following the surgical path, the plan will include a course of chemotherapy.
How You Can Help Right Now
This news was unexpected, and it brings a new level of urgency to our situation. We are bracing for a longer road, more frequent travel for labs, and an intensive recovery period.
If you are able, please consider:
Donating to the fund: Every contribution goes directly toward medical costs, travel, and ensuring he can focus on healing without the weight of financial stress.
Please don't stop. Sending prayers and messages of support. Tim and Kristen are truly humbled by all of the love and support they have received and it helps to know that they have all of us in their corner.
If you know Tim, you know he’s the first one to gear up when someone is stuck. Whether it’s a muddy recovery or an off-road rescue, Tim is the guy who shows up, no questions asked. He’s an avid Jeeper, a loyal friend, and fierce protector...in like a big teddy bear kinda way.
Right now, Tim is facing a different kind of recovery—one that’s going to take a little more than a winch and a tow strap to get through.
Today, Tim was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma, a rare Cancer affecting the bile ducts. While the word "cancer" is always heavy, Tim is approaching this with the same grit he uses to crawl over rocks. On the 24th, he will undergo a major surgery to remove the right half of his liver and his gallbladder.
This surgery is a massive step toward getting him healthy again. Following the procedure, Tim faces a difficult 8-week initial recovery period, and we will find out more about his long-term roadmap once his follow-up scans are completed in a few days and, we will know if it has spread.
As many of you know, the road ahead is steep. Tim will be out of work indefinitely as he heals. To make matters more difficult, his wife Kristen—who has been his rock—is also off work indefinitely due to her own health battles with CPTSD and other illnesses.
No one saw this "trail obstacle" coming. The sudden and drastic decrease in pay, combined with such uncertainty, is a weight no family should have to carry while fighting for their health.
Tim has spent years jumping at the chance to help anyone in need. Now, it’s our turn to clear the path for him. We are raising funds to cover:
* Medical expenses not covered by Medicare and private insurance
* Monthly bills and groceries while both Tim and Kristen are out of work.
* Travel and logistics for follow-up treatments.
Even if you can’t donate, please **share this page.** Let’s show Tim that he doesn't have to handle this rescue mission alone.
Let’s get Tim through this surgery and back into the driver's seat where he belongs.
We will post regular updates and keep everyone informed.
Thank you for your prayers, your shares, and your support.
***UPDATE***
Tim had his CT SCAN this morning and we are happy to report that the Cancer HAS NOT SPREAD! Although he is still facing a battle, this is fantastic news! Keep sending prayers and positive messages and thank you to everyone who has donated so far. I know the Moore's are truly grateful for each and every one of you.
