My husband, Tim Hanson, is only 47 years old. He is a devoted husband, father, provider, and the foundation of our family. Together we are raising three adopted children who depend on him deeply. Over the past few weeks, our lives have been turned upside down by a serious and rapidly developing medical crisis. What began as concerning symptoms led to hospitalizations, countless tests, scans, specialist appointments, and frightening uncertainty. Doctors have discovered multiple lesions on Tim’s liver, severe kidney dysfunction with his kidneys currently functioning at approximately 20%, dangerously elevated calcium levels, and other alarming findings. At this time, doctors are investigating the possibility of multiple myeloma and other serious conditions. We are still waiting for definitive answers, but one thing is certain: Tim is facing the fight of his life.
As we navigate this overwhelming journey, we are pursuing both conventional medical care and additional integrative and unconventional treatment options that insurance does not cover. We are trying to move quickly and leave no stone unturned while giving Tim every possible chance to heal and recover. Funds will help cover advanced diagnostics, imaging, specialist consultations, conventional and integrative treatments, therapies not covered by insurance, nutritional support, recovery protocols, ongoing medical expenses, and family expenses during this difficult season.
Tim has spent his life serving others, providing for our family, and helping create a stable and loving home for our children.
