In December 2025, I came down with a severe case of jaundice. After a visit to express care, I was sent to the emergency room because my liver enzymes were dangerously high. My GI doctor tried to perform a procedure, but it was unsuccessful due to a blockage in my bile duct. I then had to undergo a painful interventional radiology procedure to place a stent and relieve the pressure. An MRI revealed a mass just inside my bile duct and on my pancreas. Now, I am facing more exploratory procedures and, depending on the results, probable surgery. The MRI results are concerning, suggesting cancer unless proven otherwise.
With all these medical challenges, the financial burden has become overwhelming. I am on SSA and my wife is working hard to support our family, including our two young children, ages 3 and 6. The costs of coinsurance, co-pays, and daily living expenses are adding up quickly, and I am struggling to keep up. The funds raised here will go directly toward my medical bills, as well as essential expenses like food and shelter, so my family can stay afloat while I focus on getting better.
Thank you all for keeping my family in your prayers and for any help you are willing to give. Your support means the world to us during this difficult time. Every bit of help brings us closer to stability and hope for the future.
