Help Tim Fight a Brain Tumor (IBEW Local 46)

Tim is an amazing husband, father and son who was diagnosed with a giant pituitary macroadenoma brain tumor. He is a long-time member of IBEW Local 46 and a GF with Cochran Electric in Seattle, WA.

On April 17, 2020, Tim suffered a debilitating "headache" that left him unable to see, stand, or tolerate noise of any kind.  After being rushed to the hospital, Good Samaritan in Puyallup performed a cT scan and found a large mass in the center of his brain filling the area around his pituitary. His brain tumor had partially ruptured and he also suffered from two small aneurysms near the tumor.

The tumor is the size of a small tangerine and is causing inflammation of the connective brain tissue, severe light sensitivity, confusion, painful headaches and nausea, bleeding in the sinus cavity due to pressure, and it is currently resting on his carotid artery and invading the bone at the base of the head.

Tim will need surgery to remove the tumor and 2-3 years of medication to reduce any portion of the tumor that cannot be removed. He will be on micro doses of medication for the rest of his life as the tumor is likely to return without long-term treatment.

As the sole income earner for his family, the impact of Tim's tumor goes far behind just the worries of his health. Tim is stressed about the ability to care for his family physically and financial while he is unable to work.  Treatments to shrink and remove Tim's tumor have just started, but as you can imagine, the cost of treatment, surgery, and loss of pay will continue to increase.

Any help in offsetting some of the medical expenses and supporting Tim and his family to pay their bills would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you so much for your prayers and support!

Tim and Family

As seen in these images, Tim's tumor is quite large. It is actually larger than his eye socket and has completely flattened his pituitary gland as it has grown.
