Help Tim Farmer recover from surgery!
I had surgery to remove a large tumorous mass on March 2, 2026. The surgery went well, the mass was T2 – no chemo will be required! But there were complications during recovery that kept me in the hospital most of March and he needs help with medical and recovery expenses.
As anyone who knows me knows, I love traveling across the country teaching others how to take astro and landscape photography. That’s why I was in Utah last summer when I started experiencing serious stomach problems. I even had to end my trip early. Unfortunately, rest and relaxation weren’t enough to heal the recurring problems, and in the fall (after multiple hospital stays), I was diagnosed with a tumorous mass in my gastrointestinal area.
Surgery was recommended right away, however I didn’t have insurance that would cover it, so I had to wait until I could get new insurance. With that finally taking effect in January, and after undergoing preliminary testing, I had my operation on March 2, 2026. The surgery went well and, although the mass was quite large and obstructive, there was no cancer detected in the tissue around it, so my overall prognosis is great – no chemo treatments needed! Unfortunately, there were post-surgery complications that slowed my recovery and kept me in the hospital (and out of work) for most of March.
I am behind on a lot of uncovered medical bills, both from the hospital stays and ongoing treatment and prescriptions, and all my other life expenses so I created this GoFundMe to raise funds simply to help to cover these bills. There’s a big gap between my insurance, my earnings, and what I owe, and I am trying to raise $5,000.00 to help reduce my medical debt.
No raffles, sweepstakes, giveaways, or returns on investment are offered in exchange for any donations made to this GoFundMe.
