Help Tim Cover Rent and Avoid Homelessness

Hello, my name is Tim.

You might know me from my writing or my punk band, The Hormones. Many of you generously helped during my last fundraiser, which allowed me to secure the documents and equipment I needed to land a part-time job earlier this year. I remain deeply humbled and grateful for your support—thank you.

Unfortunately, I’m reaching out again, as circumstances have taken a tough turn.

The part-time job I secured—as a political pollster—began cutting my hours and pay in late August. By early November, just before the elections, I was informed that they had “run out of projects.” This has left me on a new job search, but in the meantime, I’ve been struggling to keep up with rent.

Over the past three months, I’ve only been able to pay a fraction of what I owe, leaving me at least 2½ months behind, plus late fees. My discreet attempts to raise the necessary funds on my own haven’t been successful, so I’m now turning to you for assistance.

Here’s how your contributions will be used:

Funds raised will go directly to covering overdue rent and fees—nothing else.

With GoFundMe’s administration fees, I need to raise $2,250 to clear this debt completely. The moment I reach this goal, I will close the fundraiser.
