Hey, I'm Tim and my wife Victoria and I just got married last month. I lost my job a couple of years ago. Between that and Covid, we've been pretty tight on money for a while.

We've finally started getting back on track and are catching up, but my car just blew its transmission. I still owe almost $6k on this car and will need to either surrender it or keep paying almost $600 a month to leave it parked. The transmission replacement is $7500.

I'm looking to put together a couple of grand so I can buy a cheap used car to get me to work and back until I can get out from under this one somehow. I have an hour commute to work, so sharing a car between my wife and I is not an option. I appreciate you taking the time to read this and any bit people can help.
