Hi, we’re Tim and Sarah Dunbar, a husband-and-wife team, parents of 4, and the founders of Champ Camp — a kids’ fitness program right here in Winter Haven, Florida.

For the past year, we’ve been running outdoor fitness classes for kids — helping them build confidence, strength, and a love for movement. But Florida weather doesn’t always favor an outdoor workout — between the heat and sudden thunderstorms, classes can get tricky. Families keep asking us: “When will you move indoors?”

That’s when Tim shared his heart:

“Champ Camp was born from my heart. Remembering the days when we ran around outside until the sun went down. When sports and play shaped who we were becoming. I started this to bring that same energy back and to give kids a safe place to push themselves, to build confidence, discipline, and the joy of being active with their friends. It’s more than just training. It’s raising champions for life.”

Now, we finally have the chance to bring Champ Camp into an indoor space where kids can train, play, and thrive year-round. We’ll also host birthday parties, family events, and personal training to keep fitness fun for the whole community.

We’re raising funds to cover the startup costs of transforming the space — equipment, flooring, paint, insurance, and rent — so we can open Champ Camp’s first official indoor home.
