Hurricane Helene devastated the western North Carolina Mountains in addition to other areas of the south east. Many people have lost their homes, businesses, and loved ones. Tim and Leah Sorrell are one of the unfortunate couples who lost their home. When the hurricane struck, their rental home was flooded up to 5 feet inside their home. They were able to salvage a few clothing items and sentimental items; however, their furnishings, appliances, and all other belongings were a complete loss.
