Help Tilly get to The Royal Academy
Donation protected
My name is Tilly. I have been singing ever since I can remember, joining my first Cathedral Choir at the age of 7. Here, my love of performance and music grew and it enabled me to audition for Canterbury Cathedral Girls' Choir as a founding member, the Junior Trinity programme and snap up every opportunity to perform that Cobham Hall (my school) provided.
I am very lucky to have been gifted with so many opportunities, which, provided by friends and colleagues, has given me such necessary experience. I am exhilarated by singing in front of audiences and communicating with friends and family in a way that can only be expressed by music.
I am coming to the end of my 4-year course at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (how time has flown!) and I am delighted to announce that I have been given a place to study on the MA Course at the Royal Academy of Music in London this September. Whilst this is such a life-long dream come true, it comes at a price. The cost of the fees alone are £12,450 per year, without introducing the living costs associated with London.
Those of you who know me understand how desperate I am to continue my studies in the hope of one day becoming a successful opera singer. I have worked so hard all of my life to achieve this goal. Now it is here, I am asking for your help.
Because of COVID-19 my financial projections have been severely damaged and as such, I need the help of wonderful friends such as yourselves to donate anything you can. I ask this in the hope that you can help my achieve my dream of becoming a professional musician.
