Hi friends, family, and kind strangers.

Tilly is my 15-year-old Chihuahua, and she’s been my best friend since the day I rescued her as a teenager. We’ve grown up together, moved cross-country together, and she has filled every chapter of my life with her sass, her sweetness, and—of course—her adorable little tongue that’s always hanging out. Anyone who’s met her knows how much joy she brings just by being herself.

Two days ago, everything changed. Tilly had her first seizure… then another… and by yesterday, she had suffered her third, fourth, fifth, and sixth. Watching her tiny body go through that was terrifying, and I knew I had to act fast.

Over the last 48 hours, I’ve rushed her to the emergency vet multiple times for testing and treatment. Last night, November 16th, they admitted her for 24-hour observation and to begin anti-seizure medication so they can stabilize her safely. The staff has been incredibly kind to her, and I’m so grateful she’s getting the care she needs—but the costs have escalated far beyond what I was prepared for.

The total for her emergency visits, tests, hospitalization, and medications has reached $12,565.72. I’ve maxed out my credit card, borrowed money, and done everything I can to keep up, but I’m at my limit. That’s why I’m humbly asking for help.

I’m setting this GoFundMe at $15,000 to cover her current bills and any upcoming medical needs as she continues treatment. Tilly has given me—and so many others—15 years of unconditional love. I’m just trying to give her the best chance possible to keep fighting and stay comfortable.
