Help Tigo get an urgent MRI & Spinal Tap

Tigo's extensive backstory:

Hi, my name is Kimberley. I do independent street cat rescue. This is Tigo, also known as Tiger, and this is what years of neglect look like.

Tiger is what I call a “community cat,” which means he was once someone’s kitten. Although he grew up in an abusive home, he eventually stopped being cared for altogether.

So he turned to kind neighbours to give him food and shelter, which they did for some years. Until one day I saw he needed urgent medical attention. His eyes were full of puss daily. I did my best to treat him on the street for 8 months, until it just stopped working! And I was scared he would go blind.

So I got him the urgent medical attention he needed. And decided he needed to be kept safe inside. He had entropion, which is when eyelashes turn in, on themselves, causing chronic and painful conjunctivitis. He had had this for several years.

He had an operation to fix his eyes. Then more health issues revealed themselves. We treated them also.

Last year: Tigo started engaging in this weird behaviour where he would suddenly collapse. The vets assessed him and saw a raw nerve in a rotting tooth; therefore, they suggested a complete dental.

He has now had the full dental, and the episodes have not ceased. We also ran a full panel of blood and discovered he has hyperthyroidism. He is being treated for that now.

Next, we discover his ProBNP levels are over 300, which is dangerously high. A normal ProBNP rate needs to be under 100. So now he must see a cardiologist urgently to get to the bottom of his collapsing episodes! They will run an ecogram and an ECG. This appointment will cost at least $1,200.

First is the cardiologist because of the extremely high ProBNB. This test is indicative of possible heart disease. Then, if that is not the cause of the episodes, he will need an MRI and a spinal tap - WHICH IS SADLY WHERE WE ARE AT NOW!!

NOTE: The fainting episodes stoped for over 11 months! However they are now back! Hence, why I am asking for donations towards his ongoing tests and investigations. I cannot leave him like this; it’s incredibly distressing to witness.
