Hello! I’m a fur momma of 3 cats and 1 dog (in addition to being momma to my 2 daughters ). My cat Tigger started limping and had been having difficulty jumping up on furniture and the window sill where the cats are fed for about 1.5 years. He was diagnosed with a genetic problem called Legg-Calve-Perthes disease. The upper part of the long leg bone (femur) deteriorates and the ball that fits in the hip joint breaks off. This seriously affects their lives and causes a LOT of pain. He’s only 4 years old and needs to have a wonderful quality of life! The surgery for the first side was $2500. I need to have the other hip repaired as soon as he recovers from this one, and I don’t have the luxury of affording it. Any help to make his life better is greatly appreciated ❤️
