For a while, Tiffany’s mom has been very sick with abdominal pain, feeling extremely tired, and sometimes she couldn’t even get out of bed. She kept acting like she was fine so the family wouldn’t get upset or start worrying about her. Every day I would call and ask if she was feeling better, and every day she would say she was worse. We didn’t know what to do, and even though she knew she wasn’t feeling well for a while, she kept pushing herself to eat and do things around the house.

She had been taken to many doctors located in El Salvador, but we couldn’t figure out what it was. She was getting worse by the day, and a few days ago we finally found a good doctor who discovered that she has colorectal cancer. Now, she is facing surgery on April 28th to treat her cancer, and we are doing everything we can to support her.
