Help Tiffany & Mike Rebuild Their Life
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Cassidy and it is with a significant emotion that I am writing this. On November 16, 2021, British Columbia went into state of emergency with many landslides on our major highways and mass flooding, especially in Abbotsford. My dear friends, Tiffany & Mike resided on their family chicken farm. Mike and his family stayed as long as they could, trying to save the chickens and caring for the ones they could save. During the evacuation, they left with only the clothes on their back, cat and 2 dogs. Despite their efforts, they lost their home and all of their belongings in the flood.
Tiffany & Mike just found out that their insurance is not covering their losses on personal belongings or their home. Emergency funding may be available eventually, in the meantime, I am hoping to raise enough to provide Tiffany & Mike with a foundation of basic needs. The funds raised will alleviate a fraction of their stress while they find a new home and literally restart from scratch.
Prior to this natural disaster, Tiffany worked from home. She is very kind, thoughtful and would do anything for anyone. Mike is a chicken farmer who is a hard-working family man who has the most laidback and friendly demeanour. As cliché as this may be, they are the epitome of good karma and it’ll be amazing to give that to them.
