Help Tiffany Kline with Medical Expenses

Hi, my name is Sarah Lawrence. For the past year, I have witnessed my friend, Tiffany battle an unresolved illness that instantly changed her quality of life. In a day, she went from a healthy, active woman to being bedridden, only able to walk to the restroom and back with assistance. Early on, she went to the ER often, as symptoms progressed and debilitated her body. She went to U of M hoping to get some help. She saw many doctors and had numerous expensive tests, but unfortunately, there have been few answers. The doctors believe she has a form of an autonomic nervous system disorder, but one year later, there is no specific diagnosis and no help. At this point, there is no direction forward from the doctors in Michigan.  She has been unable to do the things she loves for over a year. She is forced to spend her time lying down, which has caused considerable deconditioning. Tiffany is unable to drive or take walks or homeschool her children in the way she once could. She cannot cook, clean or care for her family as she previously did. This has had a lasting effect on her husband and children as they have had to adjust to watching her constantly suffer.

 

At this point, the Kline's need to look outside of Michigan for help. There is a doctor in Texas who specializes in autonomic disorders. I have personally met this doctor and highly recommend her and her clinic. Like Tiffany, my daughter also has an autonomic disorder that instantly changed her life. Unfortunately, local doctors had no answers. Thankfully, we were able to see Dr. Driscoll from Texas. We had a diagnosis and treatment plan within the first week of care. My daughter has a long road of recovery ahead, but she is getting stronger daily. She can now spend her days out of bed. She is walking, driving and enjoying life again. I believe Dr. Driscoll can help Tiffany also, but the clinic doesn't accept insurance. The issue now becomes financial. The Kline family has already been accumulating a year's worth of medical bills. Adding more to that growing medical expenses isn't feasible. That's where this fundraiser comes in to offer help financially so Tiffany can afford to get the proper help she so desperately needs.  Any amount you can give is greatly appreciated.
