As some of you may or may not know, I've spent the past year preparing to move to California. Well, best laid plans and all that, and it ended up falling through less than a month before my moving date.

Because I was expecting to move, I was not able to teach this summer. Because I was not able to teach this summer, I have not had a regular paycheck since May.

I've been working odd jobs to make ends meet: cat sitting, selling stuff on Facebook, I even had a yard sale! (which resulted in me falling off the porch and spraining BOTH my ankles-0/10, do not recommend).

Anyways, after 3 months, I've hit the wall. I've gone through my savings, I've asked for bill extensions and payment plans, I've even applied for a personal loan through my bank, but I don't qualify because, ironically, I don't have enough income.

For the past month, I've been relying on food banks and the occasional help from very kind friends to keep food in the fridge. I'm paying for gas with change. I just received a disconnect notice for my utilities, and I have -$22 to pay them with.

I start two jobs later this month, and my paychecks will start rolling in again, come September. But the wolves are at the door, and I need some help getting through the next month.

Anything you can donate would be much appreciated, and help keep me and the boys in the black for just a few weeks longer. Those of you who know me know how incredibly hard this is for me to ask, but, at this point, I have nowhere else to turn.
