Help Tiffany and Her Daughter Find Safety and Healing

No mother ever imagines watching her child fight for her life over and over again—and still not be safe.
Tiffany is doing everything she can to heal, but right now, she and her daughter are stuck in a toxic environment that is harming her.
We are urgently asking for help to give her a real chance at safety, stability, and recovery.

My name is Winter and I’m reaching out with a mother’s heart to ask for help for my daughter, Tiffany, who is suffering.

Tiffany has spent most of her life quietly fighting battles many people never see. She was diagnosed with lupus at just 16 years old, and her teenage years were marked by long hospital stays—sometimes for months at a time. She missed out on so much of what should have been normal milestones, even spending birthdays in the hospital. She endured monthly infusions, severe joint pain that at times left her unable to walk or move, and periods where she was completely bedridden.

By 18, she was placed in pain management, which led to a struggle with dependence on pain medication. Through incredible strength and determination, she fought hard to overcome that chapter of her life.

For over 20 years, Tiffany has also battled anxiety, depression, and an eating disorder. Despite this, she has always been the one to show up for others—giving love, support, and kindness to everyone around her, often at the expense of herself.

Recently, Tiffany made one of the bravest decisions of her life—she asked for help.

With the support of our family, she entered a residential eating disorder treatment program and has since committed fully to recovery, attending a partial hospitalization program five days a week. She is working closely with doctors, therapists, and a dietitian, doing everything she can to heal both mentally and physically.

But the road has been incredibly difficult.

In recent weeks, Tiffany has experienced multiple emergency room visits due to severe gastrointestinal issues, including constant nausea, vomiting, and intense pain. She continues to see specialists and undergo testing, searching for answers while trying to stay strong in her recovery.
Digestive health and eating disorder recovery are deeply connected, and when her body is struggling physically, it makes the healing process even harder. The constant cycle of illness and discomfort has also taken a toll on her mentally, adding another layer of stress during an already difficult

Due to her condition and the need to care for her daughter full-time, Tiffany had to step away from working and has become financially dependent on this environment—making it even harder to leave.
Tiffany has been trying to find work to support herself and her daughter—but it has been extremely difficult. Her treatment schedule, ongoing medical issues, and unpredictable health make it nearly impossible for an employer to rely on her consistently. She also doesn’t yet know when or where she will be relocating, which further limits her options. She even applied for gig work, like DoorDash, but past challenges and mistakes have prevented her from being hired. Despite her determination and willingness to work, these barriers leave her unable to support herself or secure housing on her own—making outside help essential.

Tiffany is a devoted mother, raising her daughter while managing chronic illness and intensive treatment. She carries the full weight of parenting, running a household, and trying to care for herself while being chronically ill. Her daughter, who is deeply loved, is also facing behavioral challenges and needs a stable, structured environment along with access to therapy to truly thrive. The current situation has affected her as well.

Currently living in California Tiffany feels she’s been isolated from her support system, on top of other emotional distress she’s endured that she’s been asked to keep Silent about. Her entire family is in Florida, and getting there safely is a major challenge.

One of the biggest barriers she faces is securing safe housing. Without consistent income, pay stubs, or the ability to cover first and last month’s rent, Tiffany is unable to qualify for housing on her own—leaving her feeling trapped in a situation and cycle of emotional turmoil she is desperately trying to escape.

Our hope is not just to get Tiffany out—but to truly rebuild her life. Our goal is for family and community to come together to help create a stable, permanent home for Tiffany and her daughter, where they can feel safe and begin to heal. With that foundation, Tiffany hopes to eventually return to school—something she had to put on hold in order to enter treatment for her eating disorder.

Despite everything she is facing, Tiffany has not given up.

She is a woman of faith who believes that with God’s strength, healing is possible. Even when life has been incredibly difficult, she continues to fight, to show up, and to put in the work to rebuild her life. She has already overcome so much—chronic illness, addiction, and countless setbacks—and remains determined to keep moving forward.

We are deeply concerned that if Tiffany is unable to leave her current environment, her mental and physical health will continue to decline because.

We are asking for help to give Tiffany and her daughter a real chance at a fresh start.

Funds raised will go toward:
• Safe and stable housing
• Basic living expenses during recovery
• Therapy and support for both Tiffany and her daughter
• Moving and relocation costs (including transport of belongings, car, and pet)
• Storage expenses

Our family is doing everything we can, but we cannot do this alone.

If you are able, please consider donating, sharing, or offering resources. Every bit of support brings Tiffany one step closer to healing, safety, and a new beginning.

Thank you for taking the time to read her story and for helping us lift her up during this critical time. Tiffany has given permission to share her story and private struggles, and we ask for kindness, support, and prayers for Tiffany and her daughter. She also helped me create this fundraiser because I am not tech savvy enough to do this alone!
