On April 24th, 2021 my step father, Alex Hakkinen, tragically passed away at the age of 37.
The pandemic took a toll on Alex, he contracted Covid-19 in the last few months of his life and also suffered from mental health issues since the beginning of the pandemic.
Alex left behind 2 toddlers, Jasper (age 2) and Eddie (age 3), and his wife Tiffany.
My mom, Tiffany, is now struggling alone in New Jersey with no nearby family members or support. This fundraiser will hopefully help for the family to survive during the pandemic following this tragedy.
In addition to monetary donations, items such as groceries, toddler clothes, and diapers delivered in New Jersey would be of great use to the family.
The funds raised will be put towards covering the above, as well as necessities such as rent, and a working laptop and cell phone so that Tiffany can get a job from home to support her two young boys.
