Help Me Get Back on My Feet After Losing My Job and My Forever Person
Hello, I’m Tiffany, and I’m reaching out with a humble heart for help. I never imagined I’d be in this position, but I’m currently struggling to make ends meet as I try to rebuild my life after a series of devastating losses.
I lost my caregiving job in December, right before Christmas, when my father-in-law passed away. Since then, I’ve been trying to make ends meet and find a new job. After six months of searching, I’ve finally secured an interview for a position I’m really excited about. The hiring process is underway, and I’m hopeful this will be my fresh start—but there’s a catch. My unemployment benefits run out before I start working, and I need help to cover my rent, utilities, and prescription costs in the meantime.
On top of this financial stress, I lost my loving boyfriend and best friend unexpectedly. He passed away suddenly from an undiagnosed medical condition, and I am absolutely shattered. He lived with me, and we shared everything—our lives, our bills, our hopes for the future. Losing him has left me in a state of emotional turmoil that I’m not sure I’m ready to face, but I have to.
Right now, I’m struggling just to get through the day. I’m not sleeping well, and my eating habits are erratic at best—I barely eat, mostly because I’m too overwhelmed to focus on anything but the loss of the one person who made my world feel whole. I have panic attacks when I try to go to the store alone, and even the simplest errands feel like mountains I can’t climb.
I’m doing my best to hold it all together, but I can’t do it alone.
My goal is to raise $1,200 to cover my rent and utilities for June, as well as essential prescription medications. If I’m able to raise a little more, $3,000 would help cover the rest of my bills (phone, car payment, insurance), and provide me with some food and peace of mind until my new job kicks in.
This money will go directly toward:
$1,200 for June rent
$300 for prescription medications (I have several ongoing health needs)
Utilities, car payment, and insurance
Food to help me get back to a healthier routine
I’m so close to getting back on my feet with this new job opportunity, but I just need a little help to get through the next few weeks. I don’t have any savings to fall back on, and the bills are piling up. If you can help me, even a small contribution would make a huge difference in my life right now.
I am so grateful to anyone who reads this, shares this, or can contribute to my cause. Every little bit brings me one step closer to rebuilding my life after losing my job, my health, and the love of my life.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and generosity during this incredibly difficult time.
With love,
Tiffany
