Update: Just found out that my cancer is stage 3 rectal cancer. It has not shown any growth outward, but the lymph nodes are affected. I will need both chemo and radiation.

They are going to start with radiation and "gentle" chemo to start. I have to do that every day for 5 to 6 weeks. Them. They start me on the fucked up chemo.

I’m not really sure how to do this, truth is asking for help has never been my strong suit. I tend to bury it, deal with it, and try to fix myself. Unfortunately, I have come to learn that the fight ahead of me isn’t one I can do alone. I was diagnosed with colon cancer, which has nearly blocked my entire colon already and has likely spread to the nearby lymph nodes.

I was faced with a choice. Fight yet another battle, or go quietly. It is likely dramatic in truth, but sadly I have the sort of brain that goes full doomsday when presented with information. But I thought about all I want to see, all the achievements my kid has yet to earn. And I want to be there for them. I want to fight.

Fighting however is…well expensive. So, I am asking for help. Please help me fight this, please help me see more milestones and victories for those around me that I love. Donations are wonderful, but any sort of help would be appreciated.
