Hello, my name is Tiesha Hooks. This Sunday September 28th 2025, I was the victim of a horrible sexual assault. I was raped. My world turned upside down. My life changed instantly. I had made a post on my private Facebook, which was connected to Threads, and that post went viral. I wasn’t trying to go viral, but it did.

Since that awful Sunday, life hasn’t felt real. I’ve been in a daze. My body is in shock. I have had to miss work due to the trauma that I am experiencing and going through. I’m shaking constantly. I am on high alert when I am in public. People have been asking me to post my Cash App to donate to me to help out; however, someone reported my Cash App, so when someone sends anything, it gives a warning as if I am a fraud, which I am not.

I hate to ask for help; however, I must admit I need help. I’ve contacted the police, went to the hospital, and did everything I am supposed to do. With that being said, I have an extra stress since I am missing work. I’m not sure how I am gonna keep gas in my car, pay my bills, etc., since I can’t work due to the trauma my body is experiencing. So if you can, if possible, donate anything to help me out during this horrible situation. It’s taking a lot in me just to simply post this because I am so used to being strong. But my body is telling me I can no longer be strong. I’ve dealt with so much trauma in my life, and I can’t handle it anymore.

Update of 11/12/2025

As of Friday November 14th, 2025, I will be in an inpatient intensive therapy/rehab center that deals with women of had trauma and other coexisting conditions or issues. I will be there for 30 days which again means no work or no income during that time. I am going on this healing journey to for the best of my future. I want to heal from all the trauma I’ve experienced in my life.

I’m in a time of need where I have no other choice but to allow others to be there for me.
