Help Tibu have a fighting chance
Hi everyone,
My cat Tibu has recently been sick. After a trip to the ER, the vet found he had fluid in his chest cavity, which is making it very hard for him to breathe. The vet had to perform a Thoracocentesis drainage procedure on 10/22, and a week later, on 10/30, we took him to the vet again because he was breathing heavily again, and again a Thoracocentesis had to be performed. The vet said since his chest cavity filled up in a week, he needs to go to a specialist. He needs a CT scan, echocardiogram, X-rays, bronchoalveolar lavage, and blood work to run the tests to figure out what he has. We were quoted between $4,000-$6,000 plus treatment. Unfortunately, we already spent $3,000, and spending another $4,000-$6,000 plus treatment makes it really hard.
Tibu means the world to me—he’s not just a pet, he’s family. I’m doing everything I can to help him get better, but I need a little help covering the medical costs so he can have a chance to recover and breathe normally again.
Any amount you can donate will go directly toward Tibu’s treatment.
If anyone knows of a Clinic in the Dallas Fort Worth area that could perform these test for a better price please let me know.
