Tibi and I have been friends for over two decades, ever since we served together in the U.S. Air Force. Even after leaving active duty, Tibi has continued to support the Air Force as a dedicated civilian, always putting others before himself. Today, Tibi received heartbreaking news: his mother, Maria Lukacs, passed away unexpectedly in Slovakia. As you can imagine, this loss is devastating, and Tibi needs to travel home to be with his family and say goodbye to his mother.

Unfortunately, last-minute international flights are extremely expensive, and Tibi will also have to take at least a week off work to make the journey. The suddenness of this situation means he is facing significant financial strain at a time when he should be focused on grieving and supporting his loved ones.
