On October 12th, 2025, our family suffered an unimaginable loss. Our mother, Tia, was murdered by her partner. There are no words to describe the pain of losing someone so full of love, purpose, and life.

Tia was the heart of our family, a devoted mother of five and grandmother to thirteen. She was caring, empathetic, and deeply compassionate. She had a special gift for seeing light in others, even when they couldn’t see it themselves. Tia was a source of strength and comfort for anyone in need; she would drop everything to help a friend, listen, or offer a word of encouragement.

Her faith guided her, and her dream was to create something lasting for her children and grandchildren. Just a week and a half before her passing, she made that dream come true by opening her own thrift and consignment shop, Snag House. It was more than just a store — it was a place where community, creativity, and second chances could thrive.

We want to honor Tia’s legacy by giving her a proper funeral service and by keeping Snag House open — continuing her mission to help others and to build a family business rooted in love and purpose. Every contribution will go directly toward her funeral expenses and to maintaining her store so that her dream can live on through us.
