I am a widow doing my best to keep my family afloat during one of the hardest seasons of my life. After losing my job, I took the only work I could find, but it pays less than half of what I was making before. Since then, I have been struggling to keep up with my bills and basic household expenses. I am now behind on my electric bill and facing the possibility of having my electricity shut off.

This is especially urgent because I work from home two days a week, and I need electricity to keep my job and continue supporting my family. I also have a family depending on me, including my 1-year-old grandson who lives with me. My kids are trying to find work so they can help with the mortgage, and I have already asked relatives for help, but what we have still is not enough to cover everything. I am doing everything I can, including looking for a better-paying job, but I do not have a quick way to come up with enough in time.

I am a private person and I do not usually ask for help, which makes this very hard for me. But right now, I truly need support. Any donation, no matter the size, would help me keep the electricity on and give my family some breathing room while I work to get back on stable ground.
