Hi my name is Tiana Chacón-White and I am a pre-professional at City Ballet of San Francisco. I absolutely love ballet and have been dancing all of my life. My passion drives me and I have had the privilege to train with some of the best teachers and students in a very competitive industry. I have had many wonderful performance opportunities my most recent has been in this year's Nutcracker as the Snow Queen. Performing on stage has been one of the highlights of my ballet experience and one that I enjoy most.

 

Today, I find myself trying to compete in January 2022 at the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) ballet competition, but I need help getting there. The competition costs are more than I can fund on my own. I am reaching out to my community of supporters who have seen me through the years at performances as well as new supporters to help me reach my fundraising goal so that I can compete at YAGP.

 

YAGP is one of the world's largest ballet competitions that opens up doors for young dancers by providing them scholarship auditions, performance, and educational opportunities. It would mean a great deal for me to be able to complete among some of my cohorts in the industry at this time in my life.

 

My goal is $2,250 and this covers the following costs:

Although I do not have to pay for all of it at once, I have to give deposit by the end of the month.
