Help Tia with camera equipment!

Hey all! I’m Tia. Your friendly traveling gig photographer. I’ve been at this for a few years now and really don’t try to ask for anything, much less help paying for something. My travel, tickets, editing time and equipment are all from my own funding and to produce a product I give out for free!

Through the years I’ve had a serious car crash, another vehicle stolen and wrecked, moved states a couple times, lost jobs, and more.

And despite my troubles I really don’t make my problems anyone else’s business and just do my best to show up, hang out, and get the work done, because I enjoy doing it and many of you reach out with gratitude for my work- which helps keep me going!

I really, really do love being able to be part of the scene in such a way however it’s become a bit too much for me to keep up on my own..

I already operate with very minimal equipment as I can’t afford better things, only to then have my best lens (of only two) get broken two weeks ago at the CMI show in Jersey.. it’s been disheartening to say the least.

I tried to stay positive but I’m disappointed in my work at LDB this past weekend as I only had my backup close range lens to work with and a close range flash as well. I desperately wish I could afford to upgrade/replace so I could produce more, higher quality content for everyone.

It would mean the world to me if I could have some people pitch in to help me get a replacement lens, a new flash, and a spare battery for my camera. Refurbished items of the mentioned are estimated around $1000. So that’s all I’m shooting for. A refurbed lens approx. $550, a spare battery $100, remote flash $250.
