Global Medical Brigades is an international movement of students and medical professionals working alongside local communities to build sustainable healthcare systems in areas with little to no access to care. This May, I have the incredible opportunity to travel to Panama as part of one of these missions.

During my 7-day Brigade, I will be volunteering in rural mobile clinics that provide essential medical services, health education, and long-term support to local families. As a student passionate about healthcare, this experience is very meaningful to me. It will allow me to observe and participate in patient care, collaborate with medical professionals, and contribute to improving access to healthcare in underserved communities.
