My husband’s Tia Mayte, at only 34 years old, had her life changed overnight.

Last month, she was rushed to the hospital for her symptoms. Many days, labs, and tests later, she was diagnosed with cervical cancer.

Labs showed that it had spread to her lymph nodes, and surgery to remove it was not an option.

She can't work as her previous job was very strenuous and required heavy lifting. With limited options for work, she decided to use her talents to save money for bills due immediately.

This week, she was admitted to the hospital and had 2 nephrostomy tubes inserted that will stay in place for a while to help drain her kidneys. She is currently in preparation for chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy that will begin soon.

While insurance is covering most, there’s a lot that is not covered, plus bills alongside caring as a single momma to 2 kiddies.
