Hi everyone, as hard as it is to ask for help, today I’m asking for support. As we all know, life is hard. Most people are living paycheck to paycheck every month and I have been one of those people for a while. I am a singer and artist based out of Charlotte, NC with a full time job. Recently, I had the amazing opportunity to go out of the country to sing which I am extremely grateful for but in turn that meant missing a lot of work. Since my apartment doesn’t take partial payments I haven’t been able to pay anything— even when I actually have the majority of what I owe to pay. Now that it’s August 1st I also have to pay augusts rent + fees on top of everything else. Before I made this, I have been to several different organizations for assistance here in this county and I’ve been turned away by every single one of them, one telling me that “I’m not the type of person who needs donation assistance.” This GoFundMe is my last resort. So this is me asking if you have anything you could help with, whether that’s a donation or to share it with others, please do because otherwise I have to vacate my apartment in 9 days. You have 10 days after you go to court, which was yesterday for me.
This is something that is so weird with apartments because I could easily be caught up but since they don’t allow partial payments (now that August is now on the bill) I can’t do anything. Thanks in advance
