Help Luca get to Sweden for the Gothia Cup!
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Luca Desogos and I am 14 years old. I am really excited and honored to be invited by FCNE to play on their national team for the Gothia cup in Sweden. This is known as the World Youth Cup. It is the largest soccer tournament in the world for youth and it is similar to the World Cup. There will be teams from all over the world participating at Gothia. This will be my first time playing in Europe and it is my dream to someday play pro soccer. I know this experience will help me to grow exponentially as a player. I have been playing soccer since I was six years old and I have dedicated all of my time and energy towards soccer because I am so passionate about it. This opportunity is a dream come true to me!
The beginning of my tour will start in Denmark and we will play against a couple of professional Danish clubs. We then will travel to Sweden for the Gothia cup.
The total cost of the trip is an estimated $10,000. This will cover the cost for airfare, hotel accommodations, tournament fees, uniforms, and meals. It will cover the cost for me and my mom. My mom has been my biggest supporter on my soccer journey and I want her to share this experience with me. She has been through a lot in the last year. Her relationship with her partner ended in May of last year and it devastated her in many ways, especially financially. Not only did that happen, but our apartment flooded two times within two months and we were displaced and had to live in a hotel for four months.
I am asking for your support in helping me to reach my goal to make my dream come true. Any donation, big or small, would make a difference and I would be so grateful and appreciative of your generosity. You can donate securely through my GoFundMe page.
I thank you in advance on behalf of myself and my mother. Your donation will make a huge impact on my journey in becoming an aspiring soccer player. My deepest gratitude to you and thank you for your consideration. ~Luca
