Please help Thumbs spend her golden years indoors.

I've been feeding this adorable calico kitty since July 2025. I started calling her Thumbs once I noticed her big mitten paws. She appeared in my backyard one day and never left.

Thumbs was always a little different. She would flop over and show me her belly when I came home, but she never let me pet her. So I did everything I could from a distance, including building her a heated shelter to get through the winter.

Recently, I noticed she had gained weight but was looking sick. I finally trapped her and got her to the vet. To my surprise, Thumbs is estimated to be around 8 years old. I was devastated thinking about her surviving outside all those years without the comfort of a family.

The vet visit revealed a lot of problems from her years on the street. She has ear mites, stomach issues, and is missing most of her teeth. She's now on medication and recovering in a quiet room in my house. I would love for this to be Thumb’s forever home.

But the vet bills are already adding up, and I know there will be more. My goal is simple: get her healthy and let her live out her senior years as a loved indoor kitty. I've done everything I can on my own. Now I'm just asking for a little help to cover her medical care.
