First, thank you to my friends near and far away that have given me love and support on this recent journey.

As many of you know, Overlook Farm closed recently. Loss of federal and state funding led us to make the decision to end.

I have been on the mad hunt for a new role. Second interviews, close calls, and continued outreach all leading me to my current situation. I had two third interviews in the last week. I am close, I know it.

However, numerous car issues and some illness have set me back a bit. I do not have unemployment because the farm was such a small non-profit. I can’t leave my lease and not incur crippling fees. So, I ask!

Bad timing, I know. Just like looking for a job around the holidays, this is bad timing to ask. The world also feels so precarious! But, I must be vulnerable. I must be honest. I need help.
