I have been struggling with this post for a while. Partly because it’s still surreal and partly because it just feels weird asking for help.

I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. I am having surgery next Wednesday, the 13th, for removal and reconstruction. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t scared. I’m equally concerned about having no income for such a long time. My job doesn’t offer PTO, vacation pay, etc., and FMLA in Florida does not pay. That being said, I could sure use your help!
